To say Gary Player is in a weird, conflicted position regarding the LIV Golf Series versus traditional golf tours, the PGA and European Tour, is underplaying it.

Player is a Saudi Golf ambassador, but has been highly critical of the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf Series, headed by Greg Norman, which has caused a state of flux in the sport.
