Port Elizabeth - The Warriors moved to the top of the log after their T20 Challenge fixture against the Cape Cobras was rained out at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Friday.

There were numerous attempts to get play going as the rain let up for short periods during the evening, but eventually the match officials were forced to call it a day at 20:06.

The teams were awarded two points each.

The result means the Warriors and the Titans are level on points at the summit, but the Warriors have the advantage having beaten the Titans by six wickets in their group stage match last Friday.

The stage has now been set for a thrilling climax to the round-robin stage when the Warriors host the Titans at Buffalo Park in East London on Sunday.

The winner of that match will earn the right to stage the final on December 16. The loser will host the playoff fixture on December 13.
