Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Sunday paid tribute to legendary former cricketer and coach Mike Procter.

Procter, 77, died in an Umhlanga private hospital on Saturday afternoon.

"He suffered a complication during surgery, became unconscious and never woke up," his wife Maryna Procter said in a statement.
