Pitso Mosimane’s Abha Club moved out of relegation zone in the Saudi Pro League after a goalless draw against Damac on Friday evening.
With the man at the helm none other than South African-born Pitso Mosimane, he continued to call on former AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu in between the sticks.
Poland international Grzegorz Krychowiak should have made the breakthrough after 14 minutes from the spot following a foul in the box, but he was unable to capitalise after his spot-kick was saved.

The tide seemed to be turning in the fight to escape relegation despite lacking a consistent run of results, but had overcome Al-Ittihad in their last match.
In the match, neither side seemed able to go ahead with the chances and momentum pretty evenly balanced seeing the opening spell conclude score-less.
There were no substitutions made by either side at the break and left the stakes high, with the quest to victory particularly for Abha on the hunt given the relegation plight.
There were a change that did follow over five minutes apart in which Saudi Arabian international Meshal Al-Mutairi step in ahead of Luka Dordevic.
Both teams still pushed each other with the shots on either end continuing to come on, but the breakthrough proved totally elusive and score-less it remained.
With a goal extremely elusive, the two sides were forced to share the spoils which moved the boys of Mosimane off the dreaded bottom-three positions on the table.
