Sundowns fans’ singing brings Motsepe to tears

accreditation

Mamelodi Sundowns supporters brought tears of joy to club president Patrice Motsepe with a song about the club winning a star.

Motsepe, who organised lunch for the travelling Sundowns supporters in Alexandria, Egypt, could not hold back his tears as the fans sang their lungs out with their new composition.

He was flanked by Minister of Sports and Recreation Fikile Mbalula, who is also in Alexandria to give the team support.

Sundowns take on Egyptian giants Zamalek in the second leg of the CAF Champions League tonight at 8.30pm.

The Brazilians lead 3-0 from the first leg.

Motsepe paid for about 150 supporters to attend the game.
