Berlin - Caroline Wozniacki regained the top spot from Kim Clijsters in the WTA rankings issued Monday.
The 20-year-old Dane secured the lead by reaching the semi-finals of the Dubai Championships. She went on to win the tournament Sunday by defeating Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-1, 6-3 in the final.
It ended a brief spell as number one for Clijsters, who took over the summit of the WTA standings for the third time in her career after winning the Australian Open on January 30.
