MATCH POINT! A moment Kevin Anderson will never forget

Cape Town - South Africa's Kevin Anderson stunned the tennis world when he dethroned the King of Wimbledon, Roger Federer, in their quarter-final clash on Wednesday.

Given little hope of victory by all and sundry, Anderson, the eight-seed, joined an exclusive club when he came back from two sets down to stun the eight-time former champion in five sets, winning the decider 13-11.

Anderson became the first South African to reach the semi-finals at Wimbledon in 35 years, following in the footsteps of Kevin Curren back in 1983.

Anderson, at 2.03m tall, will be 'dwarfed' by his 2.08m opponent in the last four on Friday, American ninth-seed John Isner.

It should be a cracking match.
