London - Australian Ashleigh Barty jumped 66 places into the world top 100 in the latest WTA Tour rankings released on Monday following her victory in the Malaysian Open.
After coming through the qualifiers, Barty, now ranked 92nd, beat Japan's Nao Hibino in straight sets in Kuala Lumpur for her first WTA title.
The top rankings remain unchanged with the leaders all out of action last week, but Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko moves up nine places to 41st after winning in Acapulco while her beaten final opponent, Kristina Mladenovic of France, rises four places to 26th, her highest ever ranking.
