Radwanska v Svitolina in New Haven final

New York - Polish top seed Agnieszka Radwanska demolished Petra Kvitova in straight sets to advance to the final of the Connecticut Open in New Haven.

World No 4 Radwanska swatted aside her Czech opponent in just over an hour, winning 6-1, 6-1 to advance to Saturday's final.

Kvitova, who arrived in the US after winning a bronze medal at the Olympics earlier this month, was never in contention as Radwanska dominated from the outset to advance.

The two-time defending champion will now play Ukrainian 10th seed Elina Svitolina in the final.

Svitolina earlier took care of Sweden's Johanna Larsson in straight sets, advancing with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
