Baku - Ukrainian seventh seed Elina Svitolina on Sunday overcame unseeded Israeli Shahar Peer 6-4, 6-4 in 98 minutes to lift the WTA Tour's Baku Cup.
Svitolina, 18, and ranked 71st in the world, landed her first Tour crown three years after turning pro.
Peer, ranked 149th, has won five crowns but her last came in 2009. The Israeli was playing in her first final since 2011.
