Jovanovski wins Tashkent final

Tashkent - Top-seeded Bojana Jovanovski clinched her second career title on Saturday with a 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7/3) win over Olga Govortsova of Belarus in the final of the Tashkent tournament.

Jovanovski, the world No 58 from Serbia, toiled for just under three hours to see off her 113th-ranked opponent.

Jovanovski, who had won her maiden title in Baku in 2012, had to qualify for the tournament after missing the sign-up deadline.
