Quebec City - Annika Beck claimed her second career title and avenged a loss at the US Open with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Jelena Ostapenko in the final of the WTA Quebec City event on Sunday.
The 21-year-old German had lost both previous meetings with Ostapenko, including a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 defeat in the first round of the US Open three weeks ago.
The 18-year-old Latvian also beat Beck on clay at the second-tier Contrexeville event in France earlier this year.
Beck won her first WTA Tour title last year at the Luxembourg tournament.
