Gasquet ousts Berdych

New York - French 12th seed Richard Gasquet advanced to his second US Open quarter-final on Monday by defeating Czech sixth seed Tomas Berdych 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-1.

Gasquet will play the winner of a later match between Swiss second seed Roger Federer, a 17-time Grand Slam champion, and US 13th seed John Isner.
