New sponsor deal for Federer

Zurich - Credit Suisse has signed a 10-year sponsorship deal with Roger Federer for an undisclosed sum.

The Swiss bank says it will make a "significant annual contribution" to the Roger Federer Foundation, a charity founded by the tennis player to help disadvantaged children in Africa.

Credit Suisse spokeswoman Daniela Haesler declined to say how much the sponsorship deal is worth, or how much would go to Federer's foundation.

The bank pulled out as a Formula One sponsor last year.
