London No. 1-ranked Rafael Nadal has confirmed he will play at Queen's Club, the warm-up tournament before Wimbledon, next year.
Nadal, who recently won the US Open to complete the career Grand Slam, will make his fifth appearance at the tournament in west London.
The Spanish player has reached the Wimbledon final every year he has played at Queen's, which he won for the first time in 2008.
Nadal said on Tuesday "after the French Open, it is very important for me to feel the grass under my feet as soon as possible."
Nine-time Grand Slam winner Nadal lost in the quarter-finals at Queen's to countryman Feliciano Lopez this year, but went on to win Wimbledon for the second time.
