Paris - China's Li Na moved up two places to seventh in the latest WTA rankings released on Monday despite losing the Rome WTA final at the weekend to Russian Maria Sharapova.
Li will begin her French Open title defence next week in Paris.
American Serena Williams, who already moved up three places last week, advanced a further spot to take the fifth place from Australian Samantha Stosur.
Williams withdrew ahead of the Rome semi-final with back problems.
Germany's Angelique Kerber enters the Top 10 for the first time after reaching the Rome semi-finals.
