Agassi pens heartfelt letter to Nadal

Cape Town - Former Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi has sent a message of support to Rafael Nadal as the Spaniard seeks to win a 10th French Open crown.

Agassi, now 46, won eight Grand Slam titles in his career, including one French Open title in 1999.

Nadal boasts 14 major titles, with nine of those coming at Roland Garros.

Both players have won Grand Slams at all the major events, but Agassi is particularly impressed by Nadal’s feats in Paris.

While the Spaniard has not won a Grand Slam since he won the 2014 French Open, Agassi believes he could add to his tally come Sunday week.

South African tennis commentator, Rob Koenig, tweeted a picture of Agassi’s message to Nadal:

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
