Cape Town - South Africa's Kevin Anderson on Wednesday cruised into the third round of the French Open with a straight sets win over Axel Michon of France.

The SA No 1 and 19th seed won 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 and booked his spot in the third round against Croatia's Ivo Karlovic, who beat Austria's Andreas Haider-Maurer 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.
