Baghdatis beats Gremelmayr

Den Bosch - Marcos Baghdatis celebrated his 26th birthday Friday by beating Denis Gremelmayr 6-1, 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the Unicef Open and quickly headed to the locker room to prepare for his semifinal match later in the day.

The second-seeded Cypriot's quarterfinal match was postponed because of rain Thursday. He will play fourth-seeded Ivan Dodig of Croatia later Friday for a place in Sunday's final.

Dominika Cibulkova completed a 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 victory over second-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova early Friday. Their match was suspended Thursday night with the Slovak leading 3-0 in the final set
