Tsonga storms past Llodra

Melbourne - Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beat compatriot Michael Llodra in straight sets in his first round match at the Australian Open on Tuesday.

The seventh-seeded Tsonga, the runner-up in 2008, defeated Llodra 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 in 1hr 46min on Hisense Arena.
