Johannesburg - Seventh seed Kevin Anderson cruised into the second round of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships in Florida, United States, on Tuesday night.

The SA men's number one was hardly troubled by unfancied 21-year-old American Austin Krajicek, picking up a 6-1, 6-4 win in the opening round.

Krajicek, 21, is ranked 502 in the world, and plies his trade mainly on the ITF Futures circuit.

Anderson, currently ranked 36th in the world, will face two-time Delray Beach champion Xavier Malisse of Belgium on Thursday for a place in the quarter-finals.
