Anderson rallies to beat Baghdatis

Cape Town - Kevin Anderson fought back from a set and a break down to beat eighth seed Marcos Baghdatis and advance to the second round of the Stockholm Open.

The South African No 1 rallied for a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory.

According to the ATP Word Tour’s official website, Anderosn broke Baghdatis at 3-4 in the second set and again at 5-4 to even the match.

Anderson fell behind a break in the third set as well before reeling off five straight games.

In his next match on Wednesday, Anderson will face American Ryan Harrison.

Anderson, the world No 48, won his only previous meeting against the 105th-ranked Harrison when he triumphed 6-3, 7-6 (7/3) at the hardcourt event in Atlanta in 2013.
