Anderson tumbles in rankings

Johannesburg - South Africa's top tennis player, Kevin Anderson, dropped three places and is back at number 20 in the latest ATP World Tour singles rankings, released on Monday.

Last week, Anderson climbed four places and equalled his career-high 17th position, but this week, he dropped straight back down, but still clings onto a top-20 position.

Anderson was defeated in the opening round of the ATP Masters in Cincinnati last week, where American 14th seed John Isner defeated him 3-6, 4-6.

The South African had achieved a ranking of 17 in July, after reaching the fourth round of Wimbledon.
