Anderson reaches career high

Cape Town - Following his run to the Queen’s Club final, South Africa’s Kevin Anderson has reached a career-high singles ranking of No 14 in the world.

FULL LIST OF ATP RANKINGS

Anderson has moved up three spots in the ATP rankings released on Monday.

He was beaten 6-3, 6-4 in the Queen’s Club final by Britain’s Andy Murray on Sunday, but it was nevertheless an impressive week for the South African No 1 - who beat French Open champion Stan Wawrinka en route to his duel with Murray.

Anderson’s previous career high ranking was No 15 - achieved in January this year.
