SABC to broadcast Euro 2016

Cape Town - The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) have announced that they have obtained the rights for Euro 2016 for its TV and radio platforms.

The matches will be broadcast live and are chosen from the 12 high profile, selected matches from the 24 teams taking part in the event and the final which will take place on July 10, 2016.

Hlaudi Motsoeneng, SABC chief operations officer said: “The acquisition of these rights is aimed at ensuring that SABC Sport will continue to deliver high quality football matches to our fans during the PSL off season.

“SABC Sport will continue to use the talent from the Laduma team and SABC radio commentary team, respectively, to make sure that it continues to deliver this event to our audiences in the tone and language they understand.”
