Johannesburg - Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Sibusiso Zuma is trying to earn a contract with PSL newcomers Vasco Da Gama.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, who used to earn R200 000 a month at Chloorkop, has been training with the Cape side in a bid to win a permanent deal.
But the once-Bafana Bafana ace will need to do a lot better than he did with the Brazilians if he is set to make the cut with the Parow-based outfit.
Team manager Kenny Gertse told Football365.co.za: "Nine to ten players will be released soon.
"When you release you need to get better men in otherwise it's pointless.
"That's why Sibusiso Zuma is arriving for a trial, hopefully he is the answer up front."
The Bellville Stadium outfit are also running the rule over SuperSport United's David Kannemeyer and Francois Adams of FC Cape Town.
