Cape Town - Jamie Richardson from Allerton Bywater, who had a tattoo proclaiming England the winners of the 2018 Soccer World Cup, says he has no regrets and is proud of what the team has achieved.
The day after England's 6-1 victory against Panama, the Three Lions fan went the extra-mile to show his support by doing the unthinkable.
“We had just gone 4-0 up against Panama, just before half-time and it hit me, get that tattoo done, England 2018 World Cup winners and we will bring it home,” said Richardson.
“I will never ever, ever get rid of this tattoo ever, no matter what. I am immensely proud to be English.”
England will now meet Belgium in the playoff for third/fourth on Saturday, July 14 (kick-off at 16:00 SA time).
Meanwhile, the final will be played on Sunday, July 15 between France and Croatia (kick-off at 17:00 SA time).
