Watch this USA crowd go mad!

2014-06-17 13:15
Cape Town - Soccer fever has gripped the world as every man, women and child across the globe enjoy the beautiful game in a six week soccer carnival.

The 2014 Soccer World Cup has so far delivered on every promise that a soccer tournament of this nature tends to deliver.

From red cards, play acting, sensational shots, goal keeper blunders, upset wins and come from behind victories.

Many soccer sceptics love to complain and moan about a 90 minute game with no goals and up until the Nigeria v Iran game they were completely wrong. Then Nigeria and Iran had to go and spoil the party with a dull affair which left both teams needing to go back to the drawing board if they want to progress into the knock-out rounds.

Netherlands and Spain played to arguably the game of the tournament and that was some game if you think of Germany's demolition job on Portugal.

The moment of the tournament however was neither of those to games.

The USA faced Ghana what promised to be a thriller.

The game kicked off and within a minute Clint Dempsey put the Americans ahead.

Here is the reaction from the American fans who were packed into the KC stadium in Kansas to support their team in Brazil.

Hard to believe the beautiful game is called boring by some...
