Johannesburg - In-form Spain hitman David Villa believes his team-mates are reaping the rewards of two years of dominance on the international stage after booking a place in the Soccer World Cup final.
The Iberian nation ousted Germany 1-0 in a last-four tie, to set up an incredible tie with Holland.
Neither side has ever won ultimate honours in the global showpiece, which means the 2010 final will produce a new World Cup victor.
La Roja dominated the scene in 2008 and lifted the European crown to end over 40 years without a major trophy.
And the Spanish have continued their good form in South Africa, with Villa setting his sights on the coveted trophy.
He has warned Holland that Spain will not relent in the quest for the World Cup crown.
"The group deserves this but we want more. We are happy to be in the final, that was our objective, but now we want to be champions," Villa said.
The new Barcelona recruit added that more was to come from his nation, insisting: "We've shown that in the big moments we can grow even more.
"We should have scored more goals, but one from Puyol has put us in the final."
