Johannesburg - FIFA says around 1 900 tickets are still available for the Netherlands v Uruguay World Cup semi-final at Cape Town next Tuesday.

FIFA says seats are unsold in all price categories at the 64 100-capacity Cape Town stadium in Green Point, Cape Town.

Overseas fans must pay $200-$600.

South African residents can buy Category 4 tickets for R700 (around $91.72).

Some seats became available after being released by Brazil fans who expected to reach the final.

Brazil lost 2-1 to the Netherlands on Friday with 2 300 empty seats at the 42 486-capacity Nelson Mandela Bay stadium.

The 40 186 attendance was the highest of seven matches played in Port Elizabeth, which also will stage the third-place match next Saturday.
