Johannesburg - In breaking news the Siya crew can reveal that Bafana Bafana assistant coach Pitso Mosimane will be the next coach of the national team.

Mosimane takes over from Brazilian Carlos Alberto Parreira, with whom he worked on South Africa’s Soccer World Cup campaign.

Senior sources at SAFA confirmed to the Siya crew that Mosimane will be announced as Bafana boss shortly.

Mosimane has waited patiently for his chance to take the helm of the national team.

Gavin Hunt, who many believed would challenge Mosimane for the top job, will remain manager of PSL side Supersport United.
