Parreira praises Bafana

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira believes South Africa put in an improved performance in their 2-0 win over Jamaica on Wednesday night.

The South Africans scored twice in the second-half to see off their opponents, after only having scored five goals in six matches before kick-off.

"The Jamaicans were running all the time, that's why I enjoyed the game," Parreira told Safa.net.

"They never gave us any time to rest throughout the match. I must say that perhaps in the last 12 matches we have played, including Paraguay, this was the most difficult and I appreciate it.

"All in all I am happy with the performance of the team. It was much better than the one we put out against North Korea."
