Johannesburg - Carlos Alberto Parreira has reiterated his desire to return to South Africa and apparently received a phone call from Joel Santana after he left his post as Bafana Bafana head coach.

The South African media has been awash with speculation of Parreira's imminent return and he has again indicated that he would consider a second spell with Bafana despite the pressure involved.
On Monday night Parreira told Oglobo: "My return is possible. If I receive a proposal (from SAFA) I would study it fondly because I know they like me very much. But the pressure is immense there."
Last week Parreira admitted he would consider an offer should one be forthcoming from SAFA.
The Brazilian media seems to believe that the 66-year-old is the frontrunner to replace Santana as they reported that Santana phoned Parreira after he and SAFA parted ways on Monday.
It is thought that SAFA will hold talks with Parreira as early as on Tuesday as a senior official from the governing body flew to Rio di Janeiro on Monday to inspect facilities in the country ahead of the 2010 hosts' training camp in Brazil.
