Johannesburg - Former Bafana Bafana coach Trott Moloto believes that the team’s first round exit from the 2010 Soccer World Cup was not an acceptable outcome despite a couple of good performances against Mexico and France.

Moloto, who guided the national team from 1998 until 2000, told Soccer-Laduma that failing to advance to the latter stages of the competition suggested that work needs to be done to get the South African team back on track.

He said, “I didn’t see enough progress to say that we should be happy with what happened so now we maybe need to start building again.”
