2010-06-30 09:25

Cape Town - Paraguay's success at the 2010 Soccer World Cup continued on Tuesday when they beat Japan on penalties at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria to advance to the tournament's quarter-finals, where they will face Spain.

With only eight teams remaining, the Paraguayans may well have a few more fans to help win it all thanks to lingerie model Larissa Riquelme who has pledged to run naked through the streets of Asuncion "with my body painted with the colours of Paraguay" if Paraguay win the World Cup.

According to The Huffington Post website, the 24-year-old stunner is not the first person to promise to streak in the event of a World Cup win. Argentina's coach Diego Maradona was the first prominent person to issue such a guarantee, and his team has also made the quarter-finals.

Are you rooting for Paraguay now?
