Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, who has been in fine form for the team during their two camps in Brazil and Germany respectively, hopes the national team can continue their good defending and add some fire power up-front by scoring.
He told the Siya crew the team must score during their friendly game against Jamaica in Germany on Wednesday night in order to boost their morale.
“It has come at the right time just before we depart for home. In our last game in Brazil we lost and we do not want to have the same here. We want to go all out and win this game. We know winning comes with scoring goals and we have all agreed that it does not matter who scores as long as we win,” he said.
The Kaizer Chiefs keeper acknowledged that the task ahead of them is a tough one, but said they will do all they can to win on Wednesday night.
“It is good that we have to play tough games ahead of the World Cup so that we can measure where we stand at present. We have to be prepared to face tough opposition all the time,” Khune told the Siya crew.
