Jordaan: Thank you Bafana

Johannesburg - Danny Jordaan thanked Bafana Bafana for their contribution in creating an 'amazing spirit' around the Fifa 2010 Soccer World Cup, during a visit with the national team in a Johannesburg hotel on Sunday.

"I must thank you for what is happening in this country right now, he told the team.

"I know you might not have seen all of it but the spirit in this country is amazing...You must feel very proud about being a part of that."

Jordaan also said that the team should focus on the future .

"What happens in Tuesday's match [against France] is what this country will remember. You must not dwell on what happened before."

Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira also told the players to be proud of their achievements thus far.

"You should be very proud of what you have already achieved and you must keep your heads up. History will talk about this game," he said.

Captain Aaron Mokoena said the team was fully committed to the upcoming match.

"We are going to go there and give nothing but our best against France," said Mokoena.
