Johannesburg - Andres Guardado has revealed that Mexico has been studying footage of Bafana Bafana ahead of Friday's clash.

The midfielder is looking forward to the Soccer World Cup opener against the host nation and believes El Tri can give Aaron Mokoena and the boys a few headaches.

"We have been looking at their videos and we have studied them carefully," Guardado said of South Africa.

"We have noted that their defence is very physical, fit and looks good. I'm however optimistic that we can do the same thing we did to Italy.

"I'm sure that this is going to be the best World Cup for Mexico."

El Tri proved their credentials in a friendly win over world champions Italy and have Rafael Marquez and Guillermo Franco available for the test against Bafana.
