Copenhagen - Denmark football coach Morten Olsen was forced to stay in bed Tuesday after coming down with a viral infection at the Danish team's training camp in South Africa, reports said.
Olsen developed a temperature and went to bed early after a meeting with the rest of his coaching squad Monday evening. There was no improvement Tuesday, a spokesman for the Danish Football Association said.
There were no reports of Danish players being affected.
Olsen's deputy, Peter Bonde, took charge of Tuesday's training session.
Denmark's World Cup opener is June 14 against Holland.
