CT Stadium - good or bad?

Garrin Lambley

Cape Town - Did you attend the grand opening of the 2010 Soccer World Cup's Cape Town Stadium?

Saturday, January 23 saw the stadium - that will play host to eight World Cup matches later this year - make it's "debut" with a friendly match between local PSL clubs Santos and Ajax Cape Town in front of some 20 000 spectators.

Fears ahead of the match included a lack of parking, road closures and congestion as well as a general unexpectancy of how fans would view the stadium that could well turn into a giant white elephant post-SWC.

If you made the trip to the stadium, tell us all about your day out.

Where you caught in traffic or did you make it to your seat in time?

The stadium was built with soccer intentions, but do you feel it could suitably double as a rugby venue?
