Bafana v Colombia sold out

Johannesburg - The South African Football Association announced on Wednesday night that all 75 000 tickets for Thursday night’s friendly international between Bafana Bafana and Colombia at the new Soccer City have been sold out.

The match is part of Bafana head coach Carlos Alberto Parreira’s World Cup preparations.

SAFA CEO Leslie Sedibe applauded the fans for rallying around Bafana with two weeks to go before the World Cup finals kick-off.

He said: "It is fantastic. The fans have come to the World Cup party big time by rallying around the team and the flag."

Bafana play Mexico in the opening World Cup Group A match at Soccer City on June 11. That match is also sold out.
