Bafana delay naming of squad

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana have delayed the announcement of the local-based squad set to go into camp in Durban on January 15.

Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira is still in Brazil and thus the names of the players could not be released in his absence.

Bafana's team manager Sipho Nkumane revealed that the squad will be named at least a week before the preparation session starts in KwaZulu Natal.

There has been loads of speculation as to which stars will crack the nod for the camp.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
