Cape Town - Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has congratulated Miroslav Klose after the German equalled his record of 15 Soccer World Cup goals on Saturday.
Klose came on in the second half against Ghana and scored the equaliser in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
The 36-year-old German, playing in his fourth finals, scored a typically instinctive goal, prodding over the line from close range after Benedikt Höwedes had flicked on Tony Kroos’s corner.
“Welcome to the club,” Ronaldo tweeted.
“I can only imagine your happiness!!! What a great World Cup!!!“
