Rustenburg - A small crowd has gathered at the Rustenburg fan park ahead of the England versus USA game.
A number of them had vuvuzelas but were not blowing them.
"I am learning to blow it," said American Joy-Lee Simpson, attempting a blow.
"It makes a terrible noise, but people here like it, I guess once I master it I will like the noise."
South Africans at the park said the complexion has changed compared to the opening match on Friday.
"There was a sea of yellow shirts and vuvuzelas, the atmosphere was electrifying," said Joe Montwedi.
"One reason I am here is to see how the English cheer their team up, I am a bit disappointed; maybe before the game I will see something."
England fans were confident of a win against the Americans.
"We have a brilliant team, three goals and three points are in our bag," said Tom Mayedrapeded in England flag.
Beer to warm things up
He said he had come to South Africa for the World Cup and would follow England in all their group stages.
"Rustenburg has been good for us, it is brilliant," he said wiping a blister of sweat from his forehead after sharing his football skills with local boys.
"I am just warming up for the match, I had a beer to help me to sing.
Luxury coaches that had transported fans to the fan park lined up at the Rustenburg Golf Club.
"We have all it takes to win the game," said American fan Joe Thompson.
"We caused a major upset in the Confederation Cup, I think people must judge us on that performance," he said.
Thompson's view was supported by Itumeleng Lesejane of Pella outside Rustenburg.
"USA has improved a lot."
He predicted a 2-0 victory.
