London – World Cup songs held firm at the top of the singles chart despite England's less than inspiring performances, while chart veterans Oasis topped the albums list with Time Flies, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.

Grime rap star Dizzee Rascal and comedian James Corden held the number one slot from last week with Shout, their unofficial World Cup anthem, from which royalties are going to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

Creeping up one place to number two was Somali-born Canadian rapper K'naan with Wavin' Flag, another World Cup themed song.

Kylie Minogue makes a return to the singles chart with All The Lovers going in straight at number four, while Example with Kickstarts at number three and Robyn with Dancing On My Own at number eight were the other two new top 10 entries.

Oasis topped the albums chart with a new singles collection spanning their career from 1994 to 2009, while another new entry, this time from the cast of US musical high school drama Glee, took the number two spot with Glee - The Music - Journey to Regionals.

Oasis's number one was the album chart's 900th, the first being Songs For Swingin' Lovers by Frank Sinatra in 1956.
