Cape Town – Government on Tuesday asked World Cup ticket holders to leave their cars at home and use special transport laid on for matches to prevent traffic jams.
"We want to discourage people from driving their own cars to the stadia," government spokesperson Themba Maseko told a post-Cabinet briefing.
"We know South Africans love their cars so much but their cars are an inconvenience."
