Bomb scare at Cape Town Stadium

accreditation

As things stand the authorities are still conducting their search and have not found any indication of a bomb as yet.

“Our operational people are going through the stadium. We will not release any further information at this time. The results of our search will be given later,” Police spokesman Andre Traut told snl24.com/kickoff.

Cape Town had two bomb scares during the 2010 World Cup Draw in December, both of which turned out to be hoaxes.

The first was made on the international airport, while the second was made by a German photographer living in Cape Town, who claimed to have a bomb in his bag as he tried to intern the International Convention Centre where the Draw was held.
