Bomb scare at Cape Town Stadium

Cape Town - Although details are still sketchy, reliable sources have confirmed to News24 as true reports that there has been a bomb scare at Cape Town Stadium in Green Point.

Online football magazine KickOff.com reported that sniffer dogs were searching the stadium for a bomb after a call suggesting that a bomb has been planted there.

"Our operational people are going through the stadium. We will not release any further information at this time," police spokesperson Andre Traut was quoted by the magazine as saying.
