Bafana brings Sandton to a halt

Johannesburg - Roads in and around Sandton will be closed on Wednesday due to a Bafana Bafana parade, Johannesburg metro police said.

“Roads will be blocked between 12:00 and 14:00,” Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

The procession would go down Rivonia Road, Maude Street, West Street and Fredman Drive.

Motorists were advised to use Sandton Drive, Catherine Street and Greyston Drive as alternative routes.
