Dear Editor,
It is a great thing to see South African's getting into the spirit of the World Cup.
Although there are those who think it is a waste of much needed money I am so proud to see everyone driving around with their flags and wing mirror covers.
Just one thing though please - make sure you have the wing mirror flags on the right way around. There is nothing more embarrassing than seeing our flag being "flown" upside down.
For those of you who don’t know - the red part of the flag goes on top.
I laugh when I see drivers proudly showing off their flag - upside down! People come on get with the program! We should all know which was the flag is supposed to go.
So all of you with the blue on the top of the wing mirror flip it around and be a true South African.
Now isn’t it nice to read something totally off regular topic, totally un-confrontational, that isn't about our government or moaning about something that causes huge and tense debates!
Some might scoff and slate me for it and say this letter is pointless but here's a little gem - I don’t care!
