GROUP E WRAP

A day of drama in Group E as the world's 6th ranked team Switzerland went behind to Ecuador only to come back and win it in the dying embers of the match.

Equally dramatic, but for different reasons, France's 3-0 win over Honduras elevates them to the top of the group, sending them well on their way to a possible Last 16 spot for the first time since 2006.

Stay tuned to Sport24's LIVE and INTERACTIVE commentary from the Group F match between Argentina and Bosnia, kicking off at 00:00 (SA time).

HALF TIME IN PORTO ALEGRE

After initially starting the stronger of the two sides, Honduras fell into the trap of allowing France to have more time on the ball and sit deeper in defence. Their physical approach may have cost them after seeing Palacios catch an early shower for his role in the penalty decision. Pogba should be considered a lucky man himself after he lashed out at Palacios during one of their earlier exchanges. It's all uphill for the Central Americans as France will look to drive home their clear advantage in the second stanza.
